April Picks

As many of us have learned along the way, skin changes and becomes more sensitive as we grow older. I can no longer wear my favorite Tom Ford and Celine aviator sunglasses due to the metal that touches my skin.  With a recent diagnosis of rosacea, my skin is now easily irritated so I decided to treat myself to a pair of new sunglasses.

I decided to visit the nearest Warby Parker store where I already had a couple of frames in mind. A helpful salesperson took me out of my comfort zone and introduced me to a different style called ‘Nancy.’ This ended up being the one I walked away with. The arms of the frame are slender, so they don’t obstruct my peripheral vision. And for every pair of glasses sold, Warby Parker donates a pair to someone in need.

With sandals season on the horizon, I am excited to prepare my feet with the Baby Foot Exfoliating Mask. Usually, I do this foot mask once or twice a year. The post-production visual is awful because your feet will peel like an onion, but after the shedding period the skin will feel like baby feet, only not as cute.

A few days after I prep my feet with the foot peel, I usually book an appointment for a pedicure at my favorite nail salon. Lately, I have been loving the polishes from butter | London. They are Formaldehyde-free, cruelty free, and long- wearing. If you decide to DIY, the dense full brush will color your nail with less strokes and no streaks.
