WHAT DOES FLYTE.70 MEAN?
“Flyte” represents all the directions we are pulled in and the many different stages of our lives. The “70” comes from 1970, our founders' birth year.
WHAT MAKES FLYTE.70 DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BRANDS?
Our brand was created to address the unique needs and concerns of changing skin as you move past the age of forty. Our products are formulated to work with, not against those changes. The right textures, shades, and finishes, along with targeted ingredients, will be the common denominators to looking like an elevated version of yourself. Modern, refreshed, and still rocking your mojo.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY EVOKE.ELEVATE.EVOLVE™?
We named our shades after our favorite ‘80’s and ‘90’s songs to EVOKE days past, when life felt carefree and simple. Our shades and formulas help ELEVATE your look, by bringing back your skin’s glow—with colors that lift and brighten, and never overpower. And we EVOLVE by changing our approach and embracing the change.
WHAT INSPIRED THE DESIGN OF YOUR PACKAGING?
At Flyte.70, we’re inspired by nature, art and emotions so our packaging has designs that mimic topography , rivers, and sculpture. In fact, the design of ColorBack.Burnished Bronze is actually inspired by a drone image of a river in the South.
IS FLYTE.70 MAKE-UP JUST FOR PEOPLE OVER 40?
While our products have been made with the needs of maturing skin in mind, they can be used by anyone who appreciates elevated basics.
IS FLYTE.70 CRUELTY-FREE AND LEAPING BUNNY CERTIFIED?
We are proud to be cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny Certified.
IS FLYTE.70 VEGAN AND GLUTEN-FREE?
All of our products are vegan. And while they are gluten-free in their formula content, they are produced in facilities that may* produce products with gluten. Before purchasing our products, kindly advise with your healthcare professional if you are gluten-sensitive, allergic to gluten, or have Celiac disease.
IS FLYTE.70 A CLEAN BEAUTY BRAND?
“Clean beauty” is a marketing term with no regulations or certification. This means that anyone can claim their products are “clean” within their own definition of the term. At Flyte.70, we prefer 'mindful messaging' instead, and want our customers to walk away with more knowledge and less confusion.
We believe in data, testing, safety and performance in ingredients. We like when products do good things. We constantly look for better and innovative ways our products can impact the earth, climate and humanity. Our products are formulated with plant-based ingredients combined with synthetic ingredients that have been proven safe and effective, especially in specific doses. Our products are also EU compliant.
DOES FLYTE.70 FOLLOW GMP (GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES)?
All manufacturers associated with Flyte.70 are in full compliance with GMP as established by the FDA Guidance on Cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE IN YOUR MAKEUP THAT ARE BENEFICIAL FOR GROWN-UP SKIN?
We’ve included ingredients that hydrate and allow makeup to effortlessly smooth over the skin during application. These include plant-based squalane, hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, natural triglycerides, fatty acids, Jojoba and Coconut Oil, to name just a few. As skin ages, the use of silicones in certain products makes a noticeable difference in makeup application and finish.
WHAT ARE YOUR PRODUCTS FORMULATED WITHOUT?
We choose to exclude: Acrylates, Parabens, Phthalates, Sulfates, Coal Tar, Formaldehyde, Paraffin Wax, Beeswax, Formaldehyde Donors, Animal Fats, Musks and Oils, BHA, Mineral Oil, Hydroquinone, Mercury and Mercury Compounds, Chemical Sunscreens, Retinol, Ethanolamines, Triclosan, and Triclocarban.
In some products we use the following ingredients in only less than 1% of the total formula: Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, and BHT. Flyte.70 strongly believes in responsible and safe dosing in all its formulations. We use minimal amounts of preservatives in our products to ensure safety, stability, and longevity. Our talc is responsibly sourced and certified to be free of asbestos fibers and our mica is ethically sourced.
*All formulas are gluten-free*, but are manufactured in facilities where gluten may be used in other processes
DO YOU USE TALC IN ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS?
Any talc used in our products has been responsibly sourced and is certified to be asbestos-free. We choose to use talc in our powder formulas because it gives the silkiest, most weightless finish for pressed powder formulas without leaving a chalky, dry residue.
IS THE MICA USED IN YOUR PRODUCTS ETHICALLY SOURCED?
All mica in our products has been sourced ethically and in compliance with labor and child labor laws.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS FRAGRANCE-FREE?
Many of Flyte.70’s products are fragrance-free; however, the following products include only less than ⅓ of 1% synthetic fragrance to allow for an enhanced sensorial experience: GlowBack™.Global Prep, S+S LipSheer, B+B LipBlot, L+L LipLacquer, Lucid.LipGlaze, and The Fundamental Mascara.
WILL MY PRODUCT MELT, FREEZE, OR EXPIRE?
Like chocolate, many forms of makeup will melt or soften in warm, humid conditions. If your region is experiencing a heat wave, we recommend that you delay placing an order until temperatures cool. We also offer overnight, temperature-controlled shipments in special packing for an additional cost. Please contact email@example.com so we may assist you with this special service.
In below-freezing temperatures, many products will firm up, but will soften again at room temperature.
On each label you’ll find a tiny jar icon with a number inside; this indicates how many months your product stays fresh for, once opened.
HOW DO I USE THE STRIP OF LABELS THAT COMES WITH THE FUNDAMENTAL MASCARA?
Because your eyes are more than just windows to your soul—they’re also your windows on the world—so it is advised that you replace your mascara approximately three months after opening. (This is the industry standard). Simply peel off the month from the label and adhere anywhere on your tube, as a reminder for when you need to replace your mascara.
WHAT DOES FSC-CERTIFIED MEAN ON THE PAPER PACKAGING AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification is important because we want to reduce our environmental impact where we can. An FSC icon on the packaging ensures that we comply with the highest environmental and social standards in the market.
IS YOUR PACKAGING RECYCLABLE?
All cartons and shipping materials can be placed in your paper recycling bin, while all compacts and tubes can be recycled through our recycling program with Pact Collective.

Orders and Returns
DO YOU CHARGE DOMESTIC SALES TAX ON ORDERS?
Domestic sales tax is applied to all orders within the state of Massachusetts.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER?
Once an order is placed, we’re unable to make any changes. We do our best to process orders immediately. To cancel your order, contact customer service within 2 hours (firstname.lastname@example.org); if it hasn’t shipped, we can cancel the order. If the order has shipped, once received, you may process it as a regular return.
HOW DO I FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?
Your shipping confirmation email or text will include a tracking number you can use to check on your order.

CAN ANYTHING CAUSE A DELAY IN MY ORDER?
Delays can happen because of inclement weather, supply-chain challenges, global pandemics, holidays, natural disasters, or internal disasters, like web servers going down. If there is a delay on our end, we will do our best to promptly inform you. Once your package has shipped, you will be able to track it via the US Postal Service, who can also advise you on any shipment delays.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS LOST?
Once orders have been delivered to the indicated shipping address, Flyte.70 cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages. Please have your tracking number available when you contact the US Postal Service.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED OR I RECEIVED THE WRONG PRODUCT?

HOW ACCURATE ARE THE COLOR SHADES ON YOUR WEBSITE?
Although we have tried to accurately display the colors and shades of our products on our website, the actual colors you see will depend on the device and display you are using to view the product(s), and therefore we cannot guarantee that the colors and shades of the products you order will match those portrayed to you.
