Whether I wear a hat or not in the cold winter months, Ouai Finishing Creme and Ouai Hair Oil keep the static flyaways at bay. I mix them together in my palms and apply midshaft before and after styling to protect my hair from heat. It also helps retain moisture and smooth out dry ends and frizz. And because I'm an ’80s girl, I love big hair. This combo won’t weigh it down.

After a day of chilly outdoor adventures, my son and I love to treat ourselves with LA Burdick’s Drinking Chocolate. Founded in 1987 by Larry Burdick, the chocolates are all still made by hand. You can either enjoy the rich chocolate drink at any of their 6 locations or buy a bag for home. When you’re in a cafe, the hot chocolate is extremely rich and creamy. When we make it at home, we use our Secura Detachable Milk Frother to lend a hand in replicating this liquid gold.

My final favorite for the month of December is our L+L LipLacquers. Whether I have someplace to go or not, I always feel confident and beautiful when I put on any one of our three universally flattering shades. Try Fast Car, a rich reddish amber with a hint of raisin, or if you’re feeling more glamorous, Relax, a vibrant red, is the way to go. Pair Das Model, the perfect, buffed-coral nude, if you decide to smoke out your eyes.
